
Did you know in the winter the sun is closer to the earth and air is drier as well? That means the sunrays are closer to your skin and more harmful. Be sure to drink plenty of water and add some kind of protecant to your skin. Some suggest using sunscreen, though I don't know that aloe lotion wouldn't work just as well.

I always have to put sunscreen on before going skiing because I get burned more easily in the winter than in the summer.

Very interesting. I never really considered that. Hard to believe the sun is closer in the winter--down here in TX it feels like it is in the summer!
