Laughter Is The Best Medicine

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."

I am so thankful that I have been raised in a home full of laughter and good humor. We love to laugh and smile. What makes you laugh?

Did you know that our English language is so funny? Let’s take a look at the following:

Why isn't "phonetic" spelled the way it sounds?
Is there another word for synonym?
Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?
Why do people recite at a play yet play at a recital?
Why does night fall but never break and day break but never fall?
Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways ?
Why is it that when you transport something by car, it's called a shipment, but when you transport something by ship, it’s called cargo ?
Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why they call the third hand on the clock the second hand?
Why is it called a TV set when you get only one?

While healthy laughter is a wonderful thing, we should not laugh at dirty jokes or laugh at people’s mistakes/mishap.
