Young Maiden's Daybook August 10

Today… August 10th 7:16 AM

I am thinking… When everyone is going to wake up so we can start homeschool!

I am thankful for… My Aunt and cousins, because they got to come and spend time with us.

I am wearing… Denim skirt and teal tanktop

I am reading… I want to read Ballet Shoes.

I am doing... Getting ready for homeschool.

I am creating… decorations to decorate my box with my books on it.

One of my favorite things to do... sing, draw, paint, make jewelry , scrapbook... and many more.

For education this week… Getting started for homeschool

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning…I do the Living Room. I mop and sweep it, make sure that everything is organized, and straiten up the pillows and cushions.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Love one another

A Godly character trait I plan to work on… Not to bother my brother

Scripture I am memorizing... I am doing a study on Grace. Maybe I can get it on here soon!

I am praying for… My grandparents. They are having difficulties trying to find a house that is ready for them.

For the rest of the week… Homeschool Homeschool Homeschool!

Outside my window…
Clear skies and sunny.

I am thinking…
That I am looking forward to all of my new educational opportunities of this coming year.

I am thankful…
For my mom who encourages, supports and helps me through my educational decisions.

I am wearing…
Nightgown and sweater.

I am reading…
The Psalms. I love the poetry that David wrote to God. It's SOOO beautiful!

I am creating…
My own movies on Windows Movie Maker.

One of my favorite things…
Baking! Just made cookies this past week.

For education this week…
My mom and I will be listening to the HOM Conference this week. I also will be beginning my schooling.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning...
Kitchen skills. (See above)

A spiritual lesson I'm learning...
I am learning about the true Church, the Body of Christ, and what it means to be a part of that.

A godly character trait I plan to work on…
Letting Christ live through me. My daily interaction with people around me and my blogging.

Scripture I am memorizing…
I am reading so many different passages in the Bible so many times that I end up knowing them by heart. I think that memorizing and writing it on the tables of my heart are two different things. Memorizing just to be able to quote it is one thing, but knowing it becomes second nature and you can let it live through you. That's another thing.

I'm praying for…
The Spirit's peace to be over my family. Going through alot of 'stuff' right now.

For the rest of the week…
Attending the parenting and home school Heart Of The Matter conference, preparing for home school, spending time with my little cousins who are visiting us this week, and whatever the Lord's brings my way.

Lady Jess is a teen lady who is homeschooled along with her siblings. She assists her mother in teaching her younger siblings, is an interpreter for deaf ministry, sings in a local choir, and is in training to be a homeschooling parent herself one day.
