Here I am to Worship

This song is called 'Here I am to Worship' by Michael W. Smith. This song really is just a very sweet song to sing to God. Thank you Lord for that. I really like it.

Oh, Lord. Here I am to Worship!!! Please add your praise and worship link to the McKlinky below the video.

"Lord Jesus, may my worship bring joy to your heart. I look forward to seeing you with my own eyes one day. I worship you and feed upon your spirit with mine. I embrace you and praise you for your life that was given for me. Father I adore you!"

Blessed Be Your Name

I don't know about you, but there's just no human words that can accurately describe just how blessed is His Holy Name. But even though our human words seem to be inadequate to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, He loves it! I personally don't have a singing voice, so I sign my worship to Him in Sign Language. I also turn up the songs REALLY loud so I can't hear how awful my voice is, but ya know what? To God, all our voices are beautiful when we're singing praises to Him. So join me now as we worship Him and tell Him "Blessed be Your name"

"Father God, you are so perfect and Holy, I know that in my human mind I don't feel that I can sing melodiously to you, but in your ears you hear beauty from our hearts, in the perfection of your ears, you hear it differently than we can bring it forth. I love you Lord, Blessed Be Your Name!"

A More Beautiful You

From the Heart of Worship
I like this song as an evagelistic tool to show girls they are worthy and beautiful through Christ. It isn't necessarily a song that is focused on Christ Himself, as in TO Him, but it has a great message. Even though it has a message directed towards girls, I also think of it as a song to The Bride of Christ. I listened to this today and it ministered to me as a Believer in my relationship to Christ. He loves us just the way we are and there is nothing we can do to make ourselves look or be better in His eyes. He died for us just as we are. As this song explains how a young girl is so concerned about how she looks, she compares herself to others, envious of someone else's looks, trying to live in such a way to be accepted, etc.

As Christians we do the same thing in our relationship with Christ. We get ourselves in a rut trying to be a better person in hopes of pleasing God, but He already loves us just as we are. If you are truly in Christ then that's all He desires. Anything we do after that is just a reflection of our love for him. It's not works that makes Him happy with us, our righteousness is but filthy rags. "Trying" to make God happy, simply won't. Just love Him and when you have a deep abiding love in Him, you will naturally respond to Him by doing what the Holy Spirit guides you to do. Such as helping an elderly person or a small child. It's when it comes from the heart that counts to your joy. I hope you enjoy this song as a young lady and as a Believer.

"Lord Jesus, I know that you love me just for who I am and I love you in return for the same reason. I know you bless us, but I did not choose you for what you can do for me, but for who you are. Thank you for your blessings and I praise you for your love."

Jonny Diaz - More Beautiful You
From the album More Beautiful You

Little girl fourteen flipping through a magazine
Says she wants to look that way
But her hair isn't straight
her body isn't fake And she's always felt overweight

Well little girl fourteen I wish that you could see
That beauty is within your heart
And you were made with such care
your skin your body your hair
Are perfect just the way you are

There could never be a more beautiful you
Don't buy the lies disguises and hoops they make you jump through You were made to fill a purpose that only you could do
So there could never be a more beautiful you

Little girl twenty-one the things that you've already done Anything to get ahead
And you say you've got a man but he's got another plan
Only wants what you will do instead

Well little girl twenty-one you never thought that this would come You starve yourself to play the part
But I can promise you there's a man whose love is true
And he'll treat you like the jewel that you are

Chorus
So turn around you're not too far
To back away be who you are
To change your path go another way
It's not too late you can be saved

If you feel depressed with past regrets
The shameful nights hope to forgets
Can disappear they can all be washed away
By the one who's strong can right your wrongs

Can rid your fears dry all your tears
And change the way you look at this big world
He will take your dark distorted view
And with his light he will show you truth
And again you'll see through the eyes of a little girl

Open the Eyes of My Heart

From the Heart of Worship
Today I want to share a video with you that really spoke to me through this amazing song "Open the Eyes of my Heart" by Michael W. Smith. The video was created by Michele Harris with clips from Disney's Bambi II. I haven't seen the film, so please don't toss stones my direction if it has content you don't agree with. What I like about this video is that it showed me that God is not just a God of information, rules, and regulations.

We do have a standard of godliness to live by, but God is so much more than that. He is our Heavenly Father who desires to have a relationship with us. He wants us to spend time with Him each day. His Holy Spirit will show us the Father and Son through our every day struggles and victories. He comforts us and guides us, teaches us and corrects us. A fulfilling relationship must include all of those characteristics of God.

In this video, while listening to the words of the music, my heart was lifted up and encouragement came to my heart. I pray it does the same for you.

"We praise you Father God for who you are. May our eyes not be dimmed by the cares of this world. Take away the scales of this busy life and reveal your Son in us. You are holy, holy ,holy, Lord. Open the eyes of our hearts Lord, we want to see you!"

Post your praise and worship then bring the link back and share it in our Mr. McKlinky down below.

From the Heart of Worship

This is our first Praise and Worship Meme here at GGM. Our family enjoys 'The Heart of Worship' performed by Michael W. Smith so much that it inspired us to name this Meme after this song. Worship tends to become more of a rock concert in many worship centers today, but this song brings it all down to the focus of what true worship really is, It's All About You Jesus!

I adore our Lord Jesus and love taking quiet times early in the morning for worshiping Him in the stillness of the morning. I often worship with sign language and it has enhanced my worship time to Him.

"I adore you sweet Jesus! Almighty God I praise you for your mercy and grace in our lives. Your Holy Spirit is so gentle to our hearts, thank you and praise you God for who you are!" ~Sisterlisa

Please join us in praise and worship of our Lord Jesus by posting your words of praise and worship on your blog, then bringing the link right back here to our comment section. You can grab the codes for the graphics here.
