People have been hosting backyard bible clubs for a long time. A backyard bible club is basically a vacation bible school that you host in your own backyard, hence the name. This is a great way to spread the gospel to the kids of our own neighborhoods. It's a lot of fun and it is a great experience to see God work through such young lives. Here are some ideas that you can take into consideration if you are planning on doing your own BBC.~ Sing Bible songs.
~ Teach a Bible lesson.
~ Arts & crafts.
~ Relay races.
~ Puppet shows.
~ Snacks.
Those are just a few of the many different things that you could do. Use your imagination and have fun with it.
A few years ago we hosted our own backyard bible club. The kids of our neighborhood loved it. We did it once a week for many weeks in a row during the summer time. We did it all the way up until school started again. It was a great experience and I am sure that the kids in your neighborhoods would love it just as much as ours did.
